Give to the Max Day 2020

On Thursday, November 19th, Minnesotans will celebrate their annual giving holiday, Give to the Max Day (GTMD). GTMD is a day where Minnesotans show their philanthropic spirit and raise funds for nonprofits across the state. Last year, $21.6 million was raised for 5,610 nonprofits.

If you’re in Minnesota, we invite you to join your neighbors and participate in this day of generosity! Early giving for GTMD started on November 1st, so you can give at any time between today and November 19th. Donations will be accepted both via our own website and our GTMD page, which can be found by clicking here.

This year, donations raised for OneVillage Partners through GTMD will go towards ensuring that our community partners are ready for 2021. Earlier this year, the pandemic forced our partners to pause their work, as Sierra Leone and the rest of the world went into lockdown. Today, Sierra Leone is back to normalcy, and our team and our community partners are eagerly ready to get back to building thriving, connected, and resilient communities. It is up to us to raise enough funds this year to ensure that they have the resources that they need to keep being agents of change.

Together, we will continue to catalyze community-led development.

Together, we thrive.
